First Term in Madania
Grade 7
Welcome to the First Term of this semester. We are glad to see you. There were lots of thing we did last month. Here is some brief information about Grade 7 activities.
Orientation
Welcome to Madania. The orientation had been held for three days.
Day 1, they started to know one another and played some fun games.
Day 2, they made the classroom rules, visited oher classrooms, been introduced to the teachers and practiced doing flag ceremony with other students from Primary School.
Day 3, they made student’s contract which consisted their commitment in doing their responsibilities as student.  
70th Indonesia Independence Day
18th August 2015
They had been trained to do their role in flag ceremony that was held on August 18th, 2015. They did it very well. We are all proud to you. We appreciated of your great effort. Besides, they also played many kinds of fun games. Some liked to play “Pinata Air” which is a game that is played by hitting a plastic pack of water” the one who tore the pack first will be the winner. Some were very happy playing “Tarik Tambang” and there were many more fun games to play.
Study Time
They are really excited having Japanese Language. They learnt introduction, Japan culture, and Hiragana. They are very encouraged studying such lesson. They sang, practiced greeting with the movement and writing Hiragana.
In English lesson, they learnt punctuation, capitalization, parts of speech: adjectives, adverbs and nouns.  During the lesson we did some fun games such as play noun dominoes, they really liked it. They play it not only in the study time but also in their snack/lunch time.  In addition they are very excited reading Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. They are also looking good hearing that they are going to review the book and perform a play “Oliver Twist”.
In Math, they studied integers and factorizing. The students actively do their work and play some educational games in group.

In Science class, they did several activities in the laboratory and they were contented having works in the lab.
In Social Studies, avoiding the students of being bored, we played quartet games containing the prehistoric time.   
In Bahasa Indonesia Class, they were enthusiastic telling about news they watched and heard at home.
In Budaya Sulawesi Selatan, They have learnt about the South Sulawesi heritages by searching in the internet and they will make comic about the South Sulawesi heroes and figures.
In Physical Education class they studied about the technique in playing badminton and the introduction of swimming styles.
The last they are pleased doing the recording which records list of words that can help them understand the lesson more.

My Welcoming Writing Finally I can start writing on my blog. The intention existed months ago however I didn't have much time to spend to explore more about how to work with this kind of program. Yesterday a kind person voluntarily taught me on how to deal with this. probably not much for him but for me it's huge changes on how I understood using this program. A Year in Madania School Tak terasa sudah 1 tahun 40 hari saya bekerja di Sekolah Madania Makassar. Sesungguhnya apa yang saya lakukan sekarang bukanlah bagian dari rencana saya 2 tahun yang lalu sebelum melanjutkan studi di pasca sarjana UNM. Harapan saya sebelumnya adalah bisa berprofesi sebagai dosen. Namun takdir berkata lain, Allah telah menentukan untuk beribadah, mengajar di sekolah ini. Setelah tidak lulus dalam seleksi CPNS, saya mulai melamar di beberapa kampus swasta dan sekolah swasta, kampus swasta tak ada panggilan. Namun di beberapa sekolah swasta ada panggilan tes. Namun di antara sekolah yang menerima, saya memilih Sekolah Madania Makassar. Kenapa? Untuk beberapa tahun pengalaman mengajar, saya tak mencari lagi pekerjaan yang memberikan saya gaji tinggi atau sekolah itu terkenal. Namun, pertimbangan saya adalah sistem pembelajaran yang tepat. Sekolah ini memberikan saya kesempatan bagi saya mengeksplorasi kemampuan dan pengetahuan yang saya miliki.
